Celebration Church Gallery Guidelines
Purpose: To encourage God’s people to use their creativity to worship our creative God and to point each viewer to Jesus. Celebration Church Gallery is not intended as a forum for promoting sales.
Featured Artists: Interested artists must email three to five sample images, a short bio and an artist statement to Celebration Church Worship Arts Ministry at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will also accept a link to the artist’s website in lieu of sending individual images. A group of artists and the gallery coordinator will evaluate and select artists who will be given a section of the hallway to display their art for 3-4 months. The gallery is available for viewing during Celebration Church operating hours.
Content: All art must be appropriate for an audience of all ages and must be consistent with biblical truth as stated in the core beliefs of Celebration Church. The gallery coordinator reserves the right to restrict artwork due to quality, profanity, nudity or graphic violence.
Size & Display: All art must be securely wired on a canvas or frame and must be no larger than 3 feet by 4 feet. No saw tooth hangers will be accepted. Celebration Church will provide a hanging system that must be used to display each art piece. All art and labels will be installed and removed by the Celebration Gallery coordinator.
Labeling: After the featured artists are selected, the coordinator will provide all art labels. Please send the following information for EACH PIECE to email@example.com.
Artists should include:
(1) The title of the work; (2) The size & medium of the work; (3) The artist’s name and personal email address (Business emails and contact information will not be accepted); (4) An optional bible verse or artists interpretation of the work to help the viewer appreciate the meaning of the artwork.
Statement of Responsibility:Celebration Church regularly hosts many different groups and events. By delivering the work of art, the artist agrees to hold Celebration Church harmless for any loss or damage. All art that is selected for the gallery will be displayed for 3-4 months. At the end of this showing, artists will be notified when they can pick up their work. Art that is left for more than one month after this time period will be donated to a charitable organization.
