As Celebration Church leadership and staff, we have chosen to address the topic of pornography with courage, compassion, and the hope of the Gospel. In the coming weeks, we will introduce vetted, Gospel-centered resources from Covenant Eyes’ 5 Stones initiative for men, women, couples, families, and leaders.

Pornography affects many people, and we cannot shepherd believers well without addressing it honestly and directly. At the same time, we recognize that this is a weighty subject, especially for young minds. We want to prepare our congregation for how this issue will be addressed and help parents make informed decisions about their family’s participation.

Please join our elders and ministry leaders for a panel discussion this coming Wednesday evening in the Apex. We will address questions and concerns and share the heart behind this church-wide initiative.

Next weekend’s services will address this topic directly and may not be appropriate for younger children. We encourage parents to plan for their children to attend children’s ministry during the message. Helpful resources will be available in the sermon bulletins and on seats. While these materials are discreet, they do include the word “porn” and are intended for adult use.
