Ballet Magnificat!, America’s premier Christian ballet company, is coming to Celebration Church this September!
Join us on September 8th at 6:30pm as Ballet Magnificat performs their ballet, Stratagem. We will also be hosting 2 days of workshops with Ballet Magnificat for beginner, intermediate, and advanced dancers on Friday, September 6th, and Saturday, September 7th. More About the Workshops
When: Friday, September 6th -4pm-8:20pm and Saturday, September 7th from 9am-1:20pm.
Cost: $120 for both days
Where: Celebration Church, 429 Shipley Ferry RD, Blountville, TN
Workshop participants must be 8 years or older and have at least 1 year of ballet training. We will put students in either beginner, intermediate or advanced levels based on the Ballet Magnificat guidelines. Each student will take all 6 classes*:
-Ballet technique
-Contemporary Dance
-Variations (learn excerpts from Ballet Magnificat choreography)
-Tap
-Jazz
-Creative Worship (open to dancers and non-dancers)
*Students are not required to have dance experience in all the genres listed
