A brand new thing!
This is a first for Celebration Church! A weekend away for a small group of married couples who are ready for a weekend of intense investment in the one relationship that most closely mirrors our relationship with Christ - their covenant! Unlike the previous marriage weekends, you’ll spend a lot of time as a couple working actively towards a better marriage: shorter messages; more couples time! And, best of all, this will be in a beautiful location on Roan Mountain.

Dates and times?
Check-in at Fairhaven Ministries starts at 2 pm on Friday September 24, for those who want to explore the hiking trail, the catch-and-release fishing pond, and the general peace and beauty at Fairhaven.
The program will start at 6.00 on Friday evening with dinner, and the first session at 7. The program runs for all of Saturday and concludes at 10 am on Sunday morning.
If you are unable to attend the full weekend, we will ask you not to register for the weekend, but instead, to join the Your Marriage Garden Wednesday night study which will kick off in October. This study will be a repeat of the entire weekend program for those unable to attend the weekend retreat.
What is the theme and focus?
The weekend is called, "Your Marriage Garden" because your relationship has several unique moments and places, such as a well to draw water from, briars one can get stuck in, a bonfire for warmth and making memories, and others that reveal the season or condition of your marriage. You may be stuck somewhere or caught in a loop that puts you at constant odds with each other. What if you could know where you are and what to do there to strengthen you bond?
During this special intensive weekend, you will receive practical and personal help from the whole family ministry team, to find your way back from the harder places, like miscommunication and difficult conflict, to the bonfire, where you’re able to enjoy the blessings of a healed marriage once again.
What to expect
You will be encouraged, nurtured, counseled, guided, loved, pampered, challenged, fed, listened to, and given personal attention on this weekend. The small size and shorter teaching means you will also have much time to reflect and connect.
The retreat center aims to bring you closer to each other and to God. There is no wifi and very limited cell phone reception. A landline is available for emergency calls. Be prepared to have a focused and dedicated time for your marriage. Read more about the center here: https://fairhavenministries.net/.
You’ll have a choice of booking a cabin just for yourself, or to book one that can house you and another couple. (Each cabin has one queen room downstairs and a loft with 2 twin beds). Couples sharing a cabin would also share the single full bathroom downstairs. Each cabin has a dining area and a kitchenette, although the meals will be prepared for you. Each cabin has a porch and chairs for relaxing time. The Fall colors are already beautiful this time of year!
All meals from dinner on Friday to breakfast on Sunday are included.
We have already started praying for you and for this retreat to be a joyful, hopeful, and blessed time of meeting with Jesus, who can turn the water of your marriage into wine.
Space is very limited, so please register today. Registration closes on September 17. Please don't use the Registration button at the bottom of the page. Here is your registration link.
