Photos & Videos:
Families are encouraged to attend the dress rehearsal on Thursday, April 25th and to take photos and videos. Due to copyright issues, the Weekend of HOPE services will NOT be livestreamed on Facebook or YouTube as usual. In order to encourage an atmosphere of worship, please do not take photos or videos during the worship services on Saturday and Sunday. You will appreciate hands and hearts that are free to sing, clap and participate as the Spirit leads.
Parent Helpers:
Because many of our teachers lead and participate in multiple classes, parent helpers are needed for our dress rehearsal and performances. Parents who assist will have an opportunity to see their child onstage by attending one of the three services. Students may bring snacks but each adult will ensure that the gym and Worship Center are completely clean after our rehearsal and performances. To assist your child’s class, please contact Denise Montgomery at the Worship Arts desk or denisemontgomery@charter.net
Costumes: All female dancers (except pre dance) must wear a black tank leotard and ankle-length black leggings underneath every costume to ensure modesty and allow for quick costume changes. Please buy these immediately because they will be needed for upcoming rehearsals and for future Worship Arts events. Please do not substitute tank tops for the leotards. Most females who need to change costumes will do so in the gym. Boys will use the men’s restroom near the green room. Those with fast changes will be given a specific location backstage. Costume payments are due on April 8th . Students may not receive their costume or use their costume in rehearsals until full payment is received. Parents may write a check to Celebration Church and pay at the Worship Arts desk or pay online at cctri.org/payonline. The teachers are currently praying about, selecting and ordering each costume. Denise Montgomery at the Worship Arts desk will have your costume price on March 6th and all costumes should be paid in full by April 8th. Here is the link for online costume and tuition payments: cctri.org/payonline. Please type in the costume amount and list the name/s of your classes in the memo field so we know where to apply your payment.
Final Worship Song: After each song, the students who do not have a costume change will be escorted to the back of the Worship Center and will sit with a parent helper. At the end of each service, all students and staff will participate in the final worship song. We will dance on the stage and in the aisles with much JOY. All students are needed to stay until the end of each of the three services to participate. Please allow your student to stay until the end and do not leave early. It’s going to be a joyful time with Jesus and we invite you to sing and dance with us!
What do we need to do?
- Pray and Prepare: Our goal is to glorify God in every aspect of this performance. Please study, discuss and memorize our theme verse which is Isaiah 40:31(NIV)
”Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary,
They will walk and not be faint.”
All participants and their families are encouraged to pray and fast in some way for 7 days from April 19th through April 26th. This can be a fast from certain foods, drinks, social media or can be a decision to Include bible reading, prayer or some other spiritual discipline in your days. As you fast, remember to pray for and to invite friends who do not know Jesus to the performance.
- Attend your classes and rehearsals: Since we have a limited amount of time before Weekend of HOPE, it will be essential to have EVERY STUDENT attend his/her regularly scheduled classes AND the dress rehearsal listed in this letter. We realize that you have many activities but we ask that you prioritize this schedule so that we can make Weekend of HOPE an outstanding offering to God.
- Tuition Payments: Please allow us to take just a moment to thank you for your faithful support of the Celebration Church Worship Arts Ministry. It brings all of us great joy to be with you and your family each time we gather. As many of you are aware, the tuition you give goes directly to pay our teachers. We are so grateful for your timely payments!
Please pay all outstanding tuition before April 3rd. We would like to end the semester in a positive manner, so your help and cooperation is greatly appreciated. Online payment is now available for your tuition and costumes. When you click on this payment website, please type in the tuition amount and list which month/s in the memo field so we know where to apply your payment.

The Worship Arts staff realizes this type of performance requires a commitment from each and every family. If you are not able to commit to this or if there is a conflict with a particular rehearsal or performance date, please let your teacher know immediately because this will affect our planning and choreography.
