1)  Haughty Denial

Psalm 10:4 (NASB):  The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him.  All his thoughts are, "There is no God." 

DQ 1) Is atheism a rational deduction?

2)  Denying the Creator

Romans 1:25:  They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised.  Amen. 

DQ 2) Why do human beings deny the Creator?  Is it because of a lack of evidence?

3)  Denying Truth

2 Peter 2:1-3:  But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you….  Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.  In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up.

4)  Denying Morality

Romans 8:6-7:  The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God.  It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.

1)  Suppressing Truth

Romans 1:18-20:  The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

2)  God-breathed

2 Timothy 3:16-17:  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

3)  By the Spirit

2 Peter 1:20-21:  Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation.  For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
