DQ 1) Define “abundant life.”

Matthew 6:19-20: "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal."
DQ 1) Define “treasures on earth” versus “treasures in heaven.”
2) Heart Ties
Matthew 6:21: For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 19:20-22: "All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?" Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.

Ephesians 2:10: For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
1 Corinthians 3:8: The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.
Matthew 25:37-40: “Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' “The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
DQ 3) What service unto God merits eternal rewards?

Matthew 7:22-23: Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

1 Corinthians 10:31: So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 15:58: Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Revelation 22:12: Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
