Kingdom Kritters Nursery
With love as our goal, the Celebration Church Kingdom Kritters Nursery Ministry averages around 100 infants through three-year-olds each week for our four nursery classrooms with a teacher/volunteer combination system for each worship service (Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday). Our volunteer-to-child ratio is between 1:2 and 1:4, depending on the age group. Because safety and security of our children is a high priority, all caregivers are required to have background checks before serving. In addition, no less than two adults will be in a room with the children, and only females are allowed to change diapers in the presence of others. Cleanliness standards and health precautions are maintained before and after each service.
The state-of-the-art computer check-in system assures our parents can be contacted at anytime while the children enjoy their classes, as well as providing security that children can only be removed by a parent-approved adult with a check-out slip. In addition, police officers patrol our area.
In order to provide adequate supervision and security for our children, we ask our parents to serve on a volunteer rotation at least once every 8-12 weeks, during the service and in the classroom of their choice.
While our infants and one-year-olds are being loved and cared for, we offer classes for ages two and three to come alongside you as you disciple your child in the ways of our Lord Jesus! In these classes, children participate in an interactive learning environment with routines including center play, music/instruments (often in combination with our Worship Arts Ministry), light snacks (with careful attention to allergies), chronological age-appropriate Bible teaching, highlighting a simple biblical truth which is reinforced through the related craft, DVD, games, and activities! A weekly parent sheet is sent home with ideas to encourage parents to further instruct their children throughout the week!

Currently all weekend services in the Worship Center at Celebration are interpreted. Interpreters are available for other services and events at the request of the Deaf member. Some of our services are interpreted even in the absence of our Deaf friends.
It is impossible to visually recognize the Deaf. Their looks, style or dress, intelligence, health, habits, etc. are the same (and as varied) as the hearing. Unless you actually see someone communicate in sign language, you won’t know the difference. Consistent interpreting allow Deaf anonymity with the opportunity to come and go as freely as the hearing members of the congregation. Our signing team is committed to learning the language and interpreting Celebration’s services. If there is any Deaf person in the audience, we want them to join us in worshipping God and to understand God’s message of salvation and truth.
